Dr. Garfinkel is a graduate of the highly regarded College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University. She has been practicing in the East County area since 2000, and has built a reputation of providing high quality and compassionate care.

The Veterinarian's Oath

"Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection    of animals health, the relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health and the advancement of medical knowledge.

I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.

I accept as a lifelong obligation, the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence."

Gary Garfinkel is not only Christi’s partner in life but but also in the office and the field. Gary has been a longtime trainer of standardbred race horses and worked in the hospitality industry for many years.
